Restaurant Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This is a great opportunity to join a new and growing company. Lotsa is seeking an individual for our Restaurant Manager position with a competitive spirit, team mentality, a desire for development, growth within a team, and someone who is looking to build a long-term career in the restaurant management business.

This individual should have the ability to show initiative and self-manage. The restaurant manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of restaurant quality and customer service, both externally for our customers and internally for our employees. Overall responsibilities involve day-to-day operations of the restaurant, which include restaurant operations, staffing, and financial management. This position is a hands-on job with the expectation that the restaurant manager is to be actively engaged at all times with the staff and customers.

Crew Member

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Line cooks will be trained to handle any role within the restaurant from shaping dough to running the POS system.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer orders

  • Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the restaurant – including food line handling, kitchen, cashier, carryout and delivery

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Delivery drivers will maintain the same responsibilities of the line cooks, and will be trained to handle any role within the restaurant from shaping dough to running the POS system.

Brand Ambassador

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Lotsa Brand Ambassadors are passionate about Lotsa and its products, and want to share that passion with fellow students, local businesses and their community alike. Their main objectives are to increase brand awareness through events, guerrilla marketing, and other creative avenues.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute guerrilla marketing techniques to acquire users, visibility and traffic
  • Assist in establishing local partnerships with campuses, events, businesses, and brands
  • Be able to think outside-the-box and brainstorm locally relevant marketing initiatives; including all aspect of pre-production, event execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Experiment and come up with new and alternative ways to leverage local events and guerrilla marketing opportunities
  • Leverage local network and knowledge to enhance marketing tactics

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High-energy and outgoing personality
  • 100% comfortable putting yourself out there and talking to customers
  • Ability to work full season or semester is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree or above

Prep Cook

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Prep Cooks will assist in the preparation of food products, including dough, sauces, and vegetables, by using a variety of equipment and utensils according to the Daily Prep List.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Refer to the Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties
  • Complete opening and closing checklists
  • Food preparation such as chopping vegetables, making sauce and dough
  • Learn and adhere to our standard recipes for preparation
  • Understand and comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, walls, walk-in refrigerator and brick oven that are in accordance with the food safety standards of the jurisdiction in which the store is located
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Performs routine kitchen maintenance by emptying the trash, mopping the floors, and washing dishes
  • Help manage inventory control
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested by a Manager at any time

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Some kitchen experience helpful, but not required
  • Previous food preparation and/or commercial kitchen experience required
